5 Months

Ford is 5 months old today! Another month has come so fast. It is amazing how much they change during each month! He sure is a big boy!
At 5 months...

can sit with almost no support
laughs at our dog, Izzi
is rolling over both ways
loves to sleep on his side
takes 2-3 naps a day
loves his rice cereal
tries to drink his bath water
is growing alot of hair
wants to watch everything that is going on
likes watching Disney Tv shows...especially ones with lots of colors
starting to reach out to be held
getting very nifty with hands

Ford is so good whenever I take him out whether it be to the grocery, mall, doctors office, or church. We couldn't of asked for a better baby! We love you Ford and happy 5 month birthday!

Christmas Day

Santa came to visit Ford! He got lots of fun toys at our house. Santa also left Ford a note thanking him for the goodies he left for him. For breakfeast we went to Nan Nan and B-daddy's house. Ford had lots of toys there too! He was so excited to play with an activity saucer he got from them! Breakfeast sure was yummy, and then we all opened more gifts. We stayed at their house until a little after lunch, and then went across the street to Noni and Pop's house for lunch. I feel like we were eating all day long! We were all so tired and glad to finally be home at the end of the day! This truly was the most wonderful Christmas we have ever celebrated. Not only was it our first Christmas married, but our first Christmas with the most wonderful gift of all....our sweet baby Ford! We love you Ford and are blessed to have you. We are thankful to God and our families this holiday season. May all of our Christmases to come be this amazing!

Twas the night before Christmas....

On Christmas Eve we had many fun things to do in order to get ready for Santa to come! Al three of us went shopping to get some last minute gifts. We went to church that night and then to Noni and Pop's house to celebrate Christmas Eve! Ford got many gifts. He really enjoyed the shiny bows and the noise the wrapping paper made. He helped rip some of the paper on some gifts. His biggest gift he got that night was a new carseat...yes that is right...Ford has already graduated from his infant carrier:( He also got alot f fun toys and some cute clothes.

When we got home, Ford put some cookies outfor Santa and some treats for his reindeer too! What a wonderful Christmas Eve!

Daddy's little man!

Today there was a North Carolina basketball game! Gabe is a huge UNC fan, so I dressed Ford in an outfit that daddy would like. Ford also started the day off right by sporting his daddy's UNC hat! We all watched the game tonight, and or team won! Go Tar Heels!

Rice Cereal

After Ford's 4 month check up, Dr. Godfrey told us we could try him on some rice cereal! We couldn't wait to see how he would like it. It went pretty well. At first he tried to push it out, but eventually he liked it. He tends to get a little tired of it towards the last couple bites. It was so much fun to watch his expressions while we fed it to him! It has now been a week since we have been feeding it to him, so a few of these pictures are from this morning! You can tell he feels differently about it a week later!

His first taste of it

Not quite sure

A week later....getting more used to it

He seems to like it now!

Yummy!

Visit with Santa

We took Ford to Green Hills Mall to meet Santa! He sure enjoyed sitting in his lap...well at least for a little while. Ford looked up to see who was holding him, and he got a little scarred and started screaming! But he soon calmed down, and we were able to get some great pictures! Santa told Ford he is on the good list. Hopefully Santa will bring Ford a new play exersaucer and a car seat!

Sweet Daddy and son

Looking up to see who is holding him...

Just figured out he did not know Santa and is scarred of that beard!

Happy again!
