Ford's Three Month Pictures and Our Visit to the Pumpkin Patch!

On Sunday, October 19th, Katie Mosley came to our house to take Ford's three month pictures...eventhough he is not quite three months old. She took a ton of photographs of him. Today she put them up online where we can order them. The website is http://www.pictage.com/client/event.do?event=560926. We love all of the pictures! Here are just a few...this one was taken in his bed.

This picture is taken in his room on the changing table. Today we met some friends from church at a small pumpkin patch at Forest Hills Methodist Church. Melinda and Allie, and Laura and Ella Tate all came so we could visit and take pictures together....and of course, pick out a pumpkin! We had a wonderful time, and the pictures are adorable!

A fun day filled with friends!

Today we went to Courtney and Nolen's house for a New Mommie's Brunch. We had a wonderful time. There were eight mommies and babies total. Everyone brought a yummy breakfeast treat. It was so kind of Courtney to have us all over. All the babies were so good, and I think they had a great time too! We are all so blessed to have all the these healthy and beautiful babies. It was so fun to see each baby's personality. They are all so different, but so cute in his or her own way. Here are some pictures from the day!
I got these pics from Courtney's page! Thanks for setting the tripod up:)
After the brunch we went to visit Ashley and baby Riley. She is such an adorable little girl. She was born two days before Ford. We took some cute pictures with Ashley's camera. After our visit with them, I had to take Ford to get his other two shots that were left from his two week check up. He did really well with them, and he got a cute camo bandaid. We certainly had a fun day with all of our activities. I know there are many more fun days to come!

Looking Back...

Just wanted to catch up on how we got to having the beautiful family we do today! So it all started on July 30th, 2008. We went to Baptist Hospital at 6:45 am for my induction. They hooked my up to the IV and started a Pitocin drip to speed my labor up. I started out that morning at 2cm dilated. Dr. Burch came to break my water around 9am. Then everything started moving pretty fast. Here is the time frame: 10:30am-got my epidural, 12pm-was dilated to 4cm, 4pm-was dilated to 7cm, 5pm- I stopped progressing, and they had to determine if Ford was just too big, or if my contractions were not strong enough. It ended up that Ford was just too big. So by 5:30pm there were a ton of people in the room preping me for surgery. They rolled my back to the OR, and by 6:01pm we had a beautiful baby boy! And a huge one infact!
Here Ford Arthur Watson is!! All 10 pounds and 1 1/2 ounzes, 20 inches long! He had a head full of dark brown hair, and beautiful blue eyes! Our first family photo!Proud Daddy

Welcome to the Watson family blog!

We have been meaning to start blogging so that family and friends can keep up with Ford's life. Well, I am just now getting this task started! Now everyone can see pictures of "our little big man" as Gabe calls him. Ford is now 10 and a half weeks old. It is amazing and kind of sad how quickly time goes by. It seems like yesterday we were going to the hospital to have our little boy, and now he is smiling back at us and making all those sweet baby noises. He is the most precious thing I have ever seen. He changes so much from day to day. Ford is perfect to me just as probably every other parent feels about his/her child. Having a baby definitely changes your life. It affects the way you think and feel about other people in your life....especially your parents. You know it takes a lot to raise a child and that alone gives you so much more respect for the parents who raised you. I am so grateful to God for blessing Gabe and me with wonderful parents and for blessing Ford with wonderful grandparents, great grandmothers, aunts and uncles, and cousins! We just have an amazing family all around. Ford is very blessed!

I hope to update this blog at least once a week. That way everyone can stay up to date on all Ford is doing! We will also update pictures so you all can see the most precious baby ever!
