A fun 4th!

The fourth was a fun filled day. It started with a parade in our parents neighborhood. All the children decorate their bikes, wagons, etc. to walk in the parade, and then win a prize at the end! So my dad decorated Ford's stroller, and we walked with him in the parade. And guess what?.....Ford won a trophy for having one of the best rides. One judge said the dew rag is what won it in the end! Later that day we went to eat with both sets of parents...who might I add live across the street from one another! It was a fun day, but with no fireworks due to the weather! Hopefully next year we can see some! Hope everyone else had a wonderful 4th too!

Happy Birthday B-Daddy

On June 23rd, We celebrated my Dad's 55th birthday! We ate dinner at Amerigos. It was so yummy. Happy birthday B-daddy! We love you!

Father's Day 2009

This Father's Day was very special since it was Gabe's first time to celebrate. Well of course we celebrated it last year even though Ford was not born, but this year was much better because our sweet boy was here with us! We had some pictures printed for Gabe and framed them as his gift. After going to church, we spent the afternoon with our parents. It was a wonderful day, and we look forward to many more Father's Days! We love you Gabe. You are a wonderful father and husband!I also have to tell my father how much I love him too! He is a great Daddy and B-Daddy. Happy Father's day to all Daddy's! We love you Poppa! I have fun with you!

A weekend at the lake

Two weekends ago we went to Tim's Ford Lake with a friend of Gabe's. The Martin family has a beautiful lake house that we occassionally get to go and stay at. We had a wonderful time. We are so thankful to Mrs. Martin for watching Ford for us so much will we were there. He definitely found a new friend with her! We had a great time swimming in the lake and taking a boat ride. Gabe had lots of fun riding the jet ski. Thank you all for having us!Ford loves flags

Zoo day with Josh

This summer I am babysitting the most precious 8 year old I know...Josh Walkup! I keep him 2 days a week. Ford and Josh have so much fun playing together. On Friday we went to the Zoo. It was one of the hottest days ever, but the zoo was not crowded at all so that was nice. We stayed for 2 hours. Josh was our tour guide. He carried his zoo map around everywhere with him. We had a fun time there. After the zoo we ate lunch at Moe's and then went to get in the baby pool to cool off! It was such a fun day with the two boys!best buddiesjosh with his zoo map

Day at the park

Last week, I took Ford to the park with Maddie and Josh. We had a wonderful time, despite the heat. Josh and Maddie enojyed pushing Ford in the swing. He would not stop laughing while he was swinging. Josh and Maddie were so sweet with him. He loves being around them!
