9 months...

Wow...how quickly time flies. I know those of you with children are thinking "that's nothing new to me." But it is diffucult to handle when your child is growing up so fast. Children are such a blessing. I think that is why I always enjoyed babysitting so much.

Ford is doing so many things at 9 months. I know I will forget to write down alot of the in this post.
At 9 months....
crawls everywhere
knows how to play with our dog Izzi, pulls her toy around and she will chase it
has a fake laugh that he likes to listen to himself do
eats 3 meals of babyfood and/or table food/day
still wakes up one time during the night to eat...but sleeps about 10-11 hours total
takes two naps a day
loves his grandfathers...b-daddy and papa
is very very busy
loves vanilla wafers
smiles alot...a whole lot!
lays his head on your chest when he is tried
has four teeth
starting to pull up on certain things
talks constantly
says dada and occassionally mama
waves bye bye and hello
He is the happiest baby I know. He definitely knows how to get his way. Although he is beginning to understand what no means. He also will pucker his bottom lip out and begin crying if he gets his feelings hurt. I don't know how much more fun he can get. I could literally eat every moment up! We love you Ford!

love and marriage

This weekend, Samantha Farley and David Cox tied the knot!! Yay for my best friend! They were married on May 2nd at Lone Oak Church of Christ in Paducah, KY. I was the matron of honor, which was kindof a big deal to me! I felt so honored!! The wedding turned out beautifully, and Sam and David looked so happy together. It was a wonderful wedding weekend. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Cox!!

Bridesmaids Brunch

My best friend, Samantha Farley, got married this weekend. The weekend before, my mom, me, and my Maw Maw threw a brinch for her and all the bridessmaids at Puffy Muffin! We had a wonderful time visiting with each other. We put together a scrapbook for her, and she gave us a beautiful broach to wear on our dresses on the wedding day! It was such a gorgeous day to celebrate too!

they made cookies for each girl..and the cookies hair color matched the bridesmaids hair!

I had these sketches done....obviously one is of Sam's dress and the other is the bridesmaids dresses

the beautiful broach she gave me...each of our were different

Happy morning:)

This morning Ford has been a happy boy. He has played in his room with his toys and loved playing with Izzi. She has been a happy puppy too! After playing so hard it will be time for a good nap!

Ford's busy life....He's crawling!!

Ford started crawling on April 14th! Now he is pretty good at it and getting all over the place! Here is a peek at his busy life!

Meeting some new friends!

Last week was full of fun. We started off by going to my friend Kristin's beautiful new home in Green Hills. We got to visit and get some lunch at Bread and Co. Later on, Hollis, Kristin's nephew came over to play with Ford. I think they had a good time! Thank you Kim for letting him come by! After that we went over to visit the Kirklands. I babysat Bonner and Hayden for several years. I grew to be so attached to them. They visited Ford when he was 3 weeks old but have not seen him since. So we went over to their house to visit and play. We also had to take them some bday gifts! Ford loved watching them play and run around!

what a cutie! sharing together...Ford loved Hollis's Easter eggs

Hayden and Bonner with Ford

Later in the week, Miss Molly came by to visit Ford. We also went to get lunch at Bread and Co that day too! We love that place, plus Ford loves the tomato basil soup, and they give him a free star sugar cookie! Yummy:) We had a wonderful visit with Molly!

Easter Sunday

Ford's 1st Easter was a blast! The Easter bunny hopped right over to our house and to both of his grandparents houses to leave him some fun surprises! However, he was much more interested in the Easter eggs and the basket itself than the neat gifts! Maybe next year we can have an egg hunt! After church we went to eat this Noni and Papa and Gabe's family. Then we went to Nan Nan and B dad's for lunch! It was a busy Easter. Ford took a great nap in the afternoon! What a special Easter Day:)
